Question Question about PCM Updates

Can any Ford mechanics that monitor this forum tell me;

are PCM updates all inclusive? For example, I brought my F150 in for a throttle delay issue, and they reflashed my PCM (they did this Monday, but there is no updated information on the PCM sticker under the hood, nor is there any information on the service ticket to indicate what the PCM ugrade version is).

Let's say that Ford has been working on other PCM issues. Could the PCM reflash that I received also include items that Ford corrected, even though my truck was not experiencing these problems?

Just curious.

It sure would be nice to know:

1) What the version of the reflash was
2) What fixes were included in it

Why is this information classified? Perhaps for the fact that everyone that owns an F150 would want every upgrade (and personally I think we are intitled to the latest firmware, even if we have to pay a small fee).

Why do I keep my home PC up to date? To prevent problems from occuring that haven't happened yet, not to wait until it fails to get it fixed!
