Spindle swap please help
Building a mud truck using 1977 frame rearends and motor and trans and putting a 1987 cab and front clip in it need to know if the spindles off the 87 axles ( indepentant sups) fit on the 1977 axle ( soild axle )

They will not, the mounting flange is a lot smaller on the ttb spindle, but I think the knuckle is interchangable so then you can use the entire ttb outers
