As it is getting cold again this winter I have been having problems again. I have the Glow Plug Module and a relay. I don't think it is the relay as I replaced that last year. I am not getting any codes or check engine lights and the wait to start light still comes on and goes off after a couple of seconds. I think my glow plugs might be bad. I am in Afghanistan again and will be home in 2 weeks and will ohm them out when I get home to see if they are bad.
I have a UVCH link in my signature that helps with troubleshooting the injectors, and has an image with the outside UVCH pins empty. Those outside pins are your glow plugs, you can test the continuity there.
Do you have the relay, or the module in the California trucks? I replaced my relay this spring and it was going bad again so I installed the monster relay from diesel-o -rings. I Knew it was going bad because I have an LED installed and some times it would come on and sometimes not.
I have the Module. I read that the module will tell you if the glow plugs are bad but not 100% sure. I will ohm out the glow plugs when I get home from this deployment. Only 2 more weeks! Yeah! I will let you all know what I find out then.

Thanks
Thank You for your service, as you have already seen, this is the right place for help on these trucks.
