1-5/8" Pacesetter truck headers into a 2.5" single exhaust system if it's a stock motor.

I just ran a 3" single system on my 96 E150, built a Y pipe using the stock upper ends, running into dual 2.5" pipe, into a Magnaflow fabricated "Y"(with a high flow 3" cat), then into 3" pipe, dumping into a single Dynomax superturbo (30" long X 10" round) and a Magnaflow 3" tailpipe. Bought everything from Summit and welded the joints with my Mig. Contrary to what you'd think, there is enough backpressure with the above system minus the cat to allow pin hole leaks to blow enough flow to feel with the barehand in the Y pipe.
