just get a backslider latch from c.r. Lawrence, like $9, the dorman plastic ones do not last at all, mine broke the first time I used it. this one basically fits almost perfectly, and looks factory, clamps nice and tight, and should last for years, had mine for 2 yrs, still works perfect.
