Other than Daystar Scorpions, I cant find front shocks for a 2008-2010 F250 with a 2" lift anywhere. Does anybody know of any other manufacturers making front shocks to go with the 2" leveling kit on the 2WD SD's?
For those of you running Scorpions, what are your opinions of them?
Daystars ( Scorpions) are'nt to bad. Put those on when I put their leveling puck in. Went with all four. Cant compare them to Bilsteins or any other quality shock but they are better then my worn out stock shocks. Only have about 5000 miles on them. Time will tell.
SENIX: I've searched every known (to me) shock manufacturer and Daystars are the only ones as far as I can tell.
WHT250: I am unsure how well the scorpions will hold up, but if I can get 50k out of them I would be willing to do it. Do they atleast ride as good as stock? Considering I tow a boat/car hauler maybe 3-4 times a month, I dont think I need to worry about over taxing a mild suspension setup. Thanks for the heads up, I appreciate it.
Yeah like I said I think the stock shocks had seen better days. Had a little bounce at high speed. Thought it could be tires but after I put these on it went away. From what ive read bilsteins seem to be the best. These like any other shock wont last for ever. Have no clue if they're going to last 50k.
Do you have any updates on your leveling kit? I have a 2014 2wd and was basically told no, by my local off road shop, if they could level my truck. They said Day Star was the only company that had a kit that "might" work and since none of the other companies offer one after 2010 that it probably can't be done. I really want to level the truck and hate to think the only way to do that is to lower the rear.
