Thanks to Jay my sled runs now. We took the carbs off again, took them apart and then put it back together. The sled would immediately rev way up and take off like a bat outta hell. Found a service manual for the sled and we went through how to adjust the throttle cables and found the right cylinder piston in the carb wasn't dropping down so it was WFO. We fixed that and then it fired right up. We adjusted the idle and it should be good to go. Needs carbides and tags now.

We will get you fixed up Chris. I would have helped more, but my new phone arrives on Tuesday. Another one bites the dust...
No more Saab for me, that POS has been replaced.
Sorry Troy, it's not a Ford still...
Looks nice Dave.

I do not. There is a dealership (used cars & trucks) that sells a set on craigslist all the time for $199. Aftermarket.

You are welcome Chris. I am just glad we finally figured it out.
She's getting checked in now. It's gonna be a long day. The border that lives in my basement is stuck in the ditch a mile from the house. He called and asked me to pull him out as we were walking out the door for the hospital. He'll have to wait.

Sounds like he may just have to call a tow truck instead.
