Our high today was 35*... It was brutal. I had acclimated to the 40's perfectly and all of a sudden it dropped this on us. My hands have been cold all day.

I wore my black and blue mechanic's gloves today to keep my hands warm. LOL, even used them when I drove to my mechanic's shop to get the distributor cap and rotor installed in the XJ-S (for free!). And while there, I found out the noise coming from the driver's side front of the car is a loose caliper. So I will park it in storage until my mechanic can get the time to fix it.

As I look out the window I`m staring at 28* worth of cold. To top that off Jt is down the hall getting sick 
I stayed home yesterday but today I`m going in so any mess he makes he cleans up.

I've been telling the snow to stay away all fall but it can get here as soon as it wants. I'd take it over this abysmal cold right now. When I got up it was 19* on my enclosed porch.
Went to bed last night with the house at 80*. Woke up to 64* with the fire still burning...

Made my brother happy yesterday. I bought him a Fender Stratocaster, and Fender Mustang 3 amp to go with it. I did not know how long it would take to get it to him, but it arrived in two days. And he sent me an email thanking me over and over. 
He plays guitar in his church, but he plays an acoustic guitar, one from Gibson and another I can't remember the name of. Anyway, I know from when we were teens he has always liked the Stratocaster from Fender, so I decided to get it for him. Now he is a very happy camper. Life is good.

Yeah, I have my moments. LOL. He sent me another email today telling me how much fun he is having with the new guitar. And the amp has all kinds of features he has never even seen before, and it connects directly to the computer to help lay down tracks, and different sounds etc. He says he will be busy for quite awhile now. LOL.

TGIF Nor Cal FTE and friends. Time to put away the swimsuits and break out the parkas it is getting cold out there! Never thought I would see ice on my windshield. Especially since I don't usually get up until 9am LOL.

Rain just hit here in Morgan Hill. Was 19* yesterday morning out here at Mantown. Coldest it's been in the ten years I've lived here. Supposed to go on a Shelby cruise tomorrow to Half Moon Bay but might have to bust out the Fusion or Trucka if it's still raining.
