My day has been....Interesting.
Put a new 180* Thermostat in the GF's 1999 Pontiac ****fire (Must be nice to have free mechanic work done for ya)..
Now it gets up to the correct temperature; But the vents are still blowing lukewarm air out. I laid my hand on both the hoses going to the Heater Core and they were barely warm; Meaning a plugged core...
In a desperate attempt to evade a 4-6 hr replacement process and save money, I'm gonna blow compressed air into the core (Alternating sides to help dislodge the gunk) and then put the water hose to it.
If that doesn't work, I'll just have to suck it up an pull the effin' dash. FML.
