My day has been....Interesting.

Put a new 180* Thermostat in the GF's 1999 Pontiac ****fire (Must be nice to have free mechanic work done for ya)..

Now it gets up to the correct temperature; But the vents are still blowing lukewarm air out. I laid my hand on both the hoses going to the Heater Core and they were barely warm; Meaning a plugged core...

In a desperate attempt to evade a 4-6 hr replacement process and save money, I'm gonna blow compressed air into the core (Alternating sides to help dislodge the gunk) and then put the water hose to it.

If that doesn't work, I'll just have to suck it up an pull the effin' dash. FML.

John, do you remember the comment you made at the last FTE meet, about "every time you've seen me, that I've gotten skinnier and skinnier"??

I am now in a 36 in pants, Vs. being in a size 40 in pants a little under a year and a half ago. If I can get into 34's I'll be one happy fellar!

I sure do! Congratulations Wes! I've been going in the opposite direction lately. Too much opportunity to eat during the holidays.

I hope the heater core comes unplugged for you.
