Twice now my Aviator's heat has shut off for about a minute.
Blower stays running, but sends rush of cold air.
Am I looking at blend motor, or blend door problem, or both.
Anybody have a simple test, because this dash looks like its a nightmare to take apart.
thanks
Jim

Have you slowly move the temo control **** to see if at any point there is clicking in the dash? Is the rush of cold air on the floor/ passenger side or is it coming through all the vents?
temp is varied by a motor control gate. Your problem is in that area. If it constantly changes, then the motor is probalby o..k.... the gate is flopping around.
