Question clark 5sp OD

Anyone have an idea were I could look for a synchronizer for a 264VO Clark transmission. The ford number is B3Q 7180-B I think.

Talking PARTS

Try Cresson Ridge Diesel Garage in Cresson Pa. Phone # 814-886-4164. They rebuild transmissions and rears and have a large inventory of new and used parts. I have dealt with them for years and they are good people. They will ship anywhere, be sure you have your trans tag #'s ready when you call them,

Look at the parts catalog pic in post #3 and pick out the parts you want.

What diagram might that be? No Ford truck parts catalog I have lists a 7180.

There are two different syncro assys: B7Q-7124-A (2nd/3rd) & B6TZ-7124-B (4th & 5th speed O/D).

form 7496 Jan of 1954 and form 7496 Jan of 1956 and form 7596 Jan of 1957. The last book shows the 7124 in the 4 speed diagram and the 7180 in the other diagrams but lists the 7124 in the HD & HDOD 5 speed as well as the 4 speed but in the diagram shows it as 7180 and also lists the 7180 in the text as HD & HDOD 5 speed. I think I am confused. Thanks

AHA! Those next to worthless one year parts catalogs.

If you look in the 1948/56 Ford Truck Parts Catalog (final printing 1964 ~ available on a C/D from hipoparts.com), you'll see that FoMoCo changed some of the basic part numbers...rendering the previous numbers obsolete.

I need 4th & 5th OD. I think I found 1 so hold off. One of the places I called has crossed my 7180 number over to a Fuller number and thinks he has one. He will let me know tomorrow. Do not want to waste your time. I will let you know if I end up still needing this. Thanks
