Didn't see anything for the change of this fitting in the tech folder. Anyone have a link?

The troublesome STC is on the '05+ 6.0L engines, you have a 2003 based on your signature.

Oh. Thanks for telling me. I thought it was on the earlier models like mine. So they must have made a change for the worse for the 05-06 models huh?

They changed the pump type which necessitated a change in plumbing fixtures.

EXACTLY^^^
A lot of Folks are in Denial about this LOL
I think 03 is one the better Years IMO Especialy if we look at some of the Most Common Causes of failure
HPO Systems Failure
Oil & EGR Cooler Fail

Right they should have just made the HPOP Better inside parts (LIKE the Diesel site HPOP)
NOT change Everything
Although the ICP relocation was Good Idea but IMO they could have don't that with the Original LOG RAIL
Or even Plumb it out and mount on the cowl

How many early engine HPO and injector failures on the main page right now compared to 05+?
5 compared to Zero.
Don't deny the early HPO sucks *****. 05+ with updated STC and dummy plug is just fine.

Throw out Injector Failures Cause those Fail because of Similair problems to them ALL
Iv thought about Bringing this up when there was a Bunch of wavey Rail and up trucks on the Main page But decided against it Because I don't think that means anything
One week its 03 the next week could be 05 whatever
You got to look at the statistics or whatever over the Years IMO

I will agree the 03 HPOP wasn't as good as the 05+
But basically I just worrey about the 1 HPOP you guys have to worrey about every Oring leaking so what 15-20 possibilities???
But seems to me that STC, STand Pipes, Dummey Plugs, and now all the wavey Oil Rail nipple cups all Fail at a Higher rate then the 03 HPOP do

Hard to bring up statistics when the statistics says Ford likely sold 600,000+ 05-10 F and E Series diesels compared to what, 75,000 03-04.5?

Yes this has Crosssed my mind to Agreed about Stats IDK where to begin that
All I really go by is what I see come threw here and that means ABSOLUTLY Nothing in the big picture
Just seams as though some of the changes ended up being problematic and maybe more problematic then what they replaced (Like EGR Coolers)
