I hope this is a quick question.

I have a 2003 F350 with stock 16 inch wheels. Not lifted or anything like that. Any issue or problems putting later model years' 17 inch wheels on my rig?

 

they'll fit, but rub

99-04 models have narrow axles
05-14 models have wider axles

to run 05+ rims on a 99-04 model, you have to use 2" thick spacers on front and rear axles.

some 04 models had 18" rims, those will work with your 2003 without spacers. otherwise, factor in the cost of spacers when you purchase a 2005+ set of rims. good spacers will run you $500-800 easy

I haul a heavy camper and the thought of using a 2" spacer seems wrong for my situation. Very wrong.

 

Probably easier to get aftermarket wheels a lot of times you can get a package deal for a decent price.
