I am lookin at a set of Mickey Thompson Classic II wheels for a 2005 superduty 4x4. The wheels have 4 7/16" back spacing, any issues with that?they are 16 by 10 wheels 8/170 bolt pattern, that will fit right? Does anyone have any experience with these wheels? Thanks!
I just got an email from wheelsforless regarding the 16 by 10 rims. They say Ford will not allow you to use the 16 inch rims on the 2005, you have to stay with 17", he did not say they will not fit. Why would it matter if I use a 16" rim?
Also, just a little FYI, with the new front ends on the '05 SDs the factory wheels have a lot more backspacing stock....so a wheel with 4 7/16" backspacing will stick out of the fenders pretty good.
The wheels I've seen being used on '05s to keep close to stock backspacing have 5.5"+ backspacing.
