I posted a thread in the off road and 4x4 section but I guess most of those guys run older stuff. I just recently bought a 4x4 03 crew cab and would like to see some pics of any mods you guys have made for getting off the pavement. Bumpers, tires, lifts, interior changes, etc. I just would like to get some ideas and see what they look like. Thanks.
i don't have pics but make sure you have 10 ply tires. anything else is a joke. if hardcore offroad get a cable actuater for the front end, a locker for the rear. now you can get as crazy as your budget can handle. but 265/75/16 tires are plenty big and work well without a lift. i am sure there will be other ideas but that is just my 2 cents.
Removed sway bar, welded front, locked rear, sliders, front bumper(not done) Heavy duty rear diff cover are what I've done so far. Need to finish the front bumper and fab some skids. As for tires get at least 265 ATs
So do your trucks have the 8.8 or the 10.25 stealing rear axle? Mine has the 8.8 and I'm sorry, it may be a good axle but it just looks dinky under my truck. May just be me though. I've seen several with the 10.25 and just in comparison it looks better.

The 9.75 looks very similar to the 10.25. I got the 8.8 rear. There a pretty good axle. I'd be more concered about the 8.8 ifs being the housing is aluminum
