    well unfortunatly I dont have that truck anymore. but I would think even with the donor truck you will have alot of emissions and computer controls that you will need to retrofit to the older truck. If you want to stay with a ford I would recommend going with the 97 and up turbo 7.3 they wont have as much computer control and if you could find a 97 the body styles are the same so you might be able to interchange parts that you need versus having to make things fit. but I thought about going with a cummins out of a dodge orginally. they arent as heavy and the older engines were turbo with no computer at all so all you would need to do is get the engine installed and run a wire for the fuel shutoff on the injector pump and the wires for the starter and you would be set. It might be harder to find the initial adapter plate but in the long run I think a cummins would be the easier and better choice.

    hey how is the swap with your gas to diesel? im gonna be buying a 1995 ford f250 soon (gas) and i want to swap in turbo diesel (maybe a 2008 ish) and with a full dooner truck i should be good right?
