I've loosened the "Lights" chrome ring, but that does not seem to be doing anything. Also, the white **** is just spinning, it does not want to come off, and there's no screw holding it on either. Not even sure how it's staying on.
I do see to "buttons" on the top of the switch, but they I still can't get it off - any help? Thanks...

 

push the button in and pull on the ****. the **** is on a shaft that runs into the switch. the button is what locks it in, so when you push the button down, it unlocks the shaft and you can pull it out of the switch.
