Ok Guys Iv got problems . Started Off I had a head gasket leaking . I didn't just want to prolong the situation so I tour it down and put new head gasket on it . Once put back together We had very hard start and a knock that I didn't notice before . It ended up being push rod on opposite side , I ordered and replaced push rod and lifter and went ahead and replaced all the injector lines . We still had a problem starting and white smoke was pouring when it did start So I went ahead a bought new injectors and installed . and glow plugs but when I check the glow plug harness im only getting around 7 v for 4 sec then the relay starts clicking , So I replaced the glow plug relay know I still only have 9 v and it still clicks and we burnt the starter up last night trying to start it so today I am going to rebuild the starter .. This is the first diesel That I have worked on and I am just getting discouraged . Anyone have any advice
You can probably get more/better advice over there than here as different people stay on that forum.
Sounds like you have may have a glow plug issue (wiring), and it's starting too cold. I think it may also have a fuel heater, if so that may also be non-functional.
I haven't done much diesel troubleshooting, sorry I can't be of more help.
