Then I'd believe the radiator is moving back, not the engine moving forwards. Do you have the front support rods between the air deflectors and the firewall? Inner fenders? You don't have a tilt front end or a rubber mounted radiator by chance?
Wouldn't the front of the diff want to lift when a large amount of torque is applied?Essentially going the opposite way the wheels go due to the torque .I would think that would try to pull the yoke out of the trans. Dunno, maybe you need to stop wearin' that lead shoe.

Doesn't the Jag IRS center piece have bushings (rubber) isolating the mid-section from the body? it could be torque enough to pushing everything forward too...
I have seen manu different way the JAG IRS has been mounted.
Worst case is just mounting the diff in the top 4 bolt hole. They are just there to take the weight of the diff. NOTHING ELSE.
The bending of the diff (Front/Rear) (Side / side ) should be taken by some kind of struts connected to the front and rear mount of the lower suspension arms. Orignial the whole package is contained in a stamped sheetmetal "box"
If you lack this "struts" I sincerly encourage you to get one before you drop the diff onto the freeway
Ok you might think links are silly, but if I put it like this. If I would mount my new 9" with 4 vertical bolts in the centre, every one would laugh at me and tell me "that aint right" "that will never hold"
I greatly appreciate your help! I know nothing of jag rear ends.
I bought the truck I didn't build it & though I can turn a wrench I do not have the skill or knowledge to do any of this on my own.
Thank you for your knowledge sharing & help.
I was not aware of how this rear should be attached & was commenting on how it is attached.
Since I have limited knowledge I often gloss over details like link bars & other "silliness" - not meaning anything is silly, but as a representation of my ignorance.
Pointing out that I am ignorant however is not helpful.
Just a possibility but you could have a broken/loose transmission mount. Under load the trans could be lifting up. This would rock the engine forward on the mounts. When you put a jack under the engine everything would seem tight.
