performance motor mounts
im having trouble finding performance motor mounts for my 1970 f100, 2wd, automatic. Almost done with my 400 hp 306. so i was wondering if anybody knew of any i could get or if the stock mounts from like LMC Truck would be ok. My plans for it are weekend cruiser/tire roaster, might take it to the track once or twice a year and maybe hook it to a sled for ****s and giggles.

Stay away for LMC most of there rubber items turn to junk in a few yrs. You may want to stop by a Napa auto parts. I your going to pull you may want to chain or strap the motor down.

i found some by transdapt but on summit it says there only for 429s and 460s. i looked up the same part number on jegs and they say it'll mount 302-460. and i looked on trans dapt website and i cant even find these mounts on their site

Check the local aftermarket motor mounts for a huge retainer that keeps the two halves together. Looks like a big o' rivet. From memory I kinda remember the genuine Ford ones had this feature. I think I would still chain down the torque side as mentioned above.
