sending units
fuel tank sending units, where are they??? I've looked everywhere, anyone got a source ???? 1987 f-250 6.0

I recently read they are no longer available either the junk yard find someone selling one or repair it

LMC has the rear, direct fit. For the side Get the Spectra for the 17gal gas w/o the pump and a repair pigtail. Will have to modify.

I have been having a hard time my self trying to find one my front tank on my 88'. I may roll the dice and get one from a junk yard. Does it have to come from a diesel or can I use one out of a gas motor?

For a direct swap, has to come out of a diesel. Yours is compatible with 87-97. The 83-86 is different ohms and won't work right. You can make a gas one work, but you'll have some unused connector pins on top. And it'll have to be one without the in-tank fuel pump.
