At the check valve in the center of that manifold is a hose going to a AIR B/D valve operated by the AIR B/D solenoid valve by the EGR solenoid.
The AIR B/D valve air source in the air pump.
This is all in the diagram above also.
Ok guys so I've got my motor back in the truck and have been going through the the wiring cleaning everything and applying grease to all my fittings and replacing pigtails if needed and I also cleaned and rebuilt my injectors and fuel rail.
The question I have now is on the vacuum lines. First on the air bypass I was trying to figure out if that valve is the on that is on the hose that runs between the exhaust manifolds and if it is, since I removed that line when I put my headers on, can I just plug that line off at the sensor.
Other question is what type of vacuum line would you use to replace the old stuff with. Or would you just go to the dealer and buy the factory replacement lines.
The bypass and the diverter valve should not have been moved.
The hose from each valve runs to each new check valve and then on to its exhaust manifold (header).
