Need help PLEASE

Ok guys so I have 2 issues with my truck which is a 95 F350 7.5l 4x4.

ISSUE 1: On the back of the coil bracket there are 2 vacuum sensors. One of the lines is red and is broke and I have no idea where it goes to. So does anyone have a vacuum diagram or can you tell me where this line goes.

ISSUE 2: On the block that bolts to the back of the a/c compressor there is something that has broke off. After looking into it everything that I've found leads me to some kind of purge valve. Now I found a part that was just laying on the manifold that looks to be some type of vacuum sensor. I called the local ford dealer and gave the parts guy the numbers off of it. He said it was a canister purge valve that connects to the charcoal canister. I have pics but can't get them to post.

I found all this stuff while pulling the motor to rebuild it and want to fix it all when I put it back in. Any help would be great.

Thanks
Greg

It broke off the a/c compressor manifold? You sure it ain't one of the a/c pressure switches? I don't remember where those are... I think one's on the accumulator but can't remember if there's a second one somewhere else.

'94 and later trucks w/R134a have a high pressure switch near that location.

It didn't break off the a/c compressor itself. It's some kind of purge valve that connects to the a/c line that connects to the compressor.

Thanks

If you want you can email me the pictures and I will post them in this thread for you of the two items.

The red vacuum lines always start out at the vacuum tree on the intake manifold.
As the parts guy said, the purge solenoid goes between the charcoal canister and the PCV valve as in the photo below.

Also just so I know for sure what I'm looking at, can you tell which 2 vacuum sensors are hooked to the coil bracket.

The second image, you're not missing anything there. You should find the switch mounted directly into the line itself below that point rather than that block (when in position bolted to the back of the compressor) and just hidden from view by your hand in that view.

Probably one black-wht wire and one green-org wire in the harness connector to it.

Ok so that's just more or less a plug on the end of the a/c compressor hook up and that's not a concern right?

I'll go check out the page for the sensors. But just FYI my truck didn't have and smog related stuff on it.

Another question also. There was a line that ran from the left side exhaust manifold to the right side manifold and connected just above the EGR tube on the left manifold. It has some type of valve or something on it. I didn't see any where else that the line was hooked to or any other places something could hook to it. Can you tell me what that line was for even though it won't get hooked back up due to installing headers but I was just curious what it was.

Thanks again guys
