Help

I have a 2000 f250 7.3 and a 2008 f350 bad motor and the trucks are same cab size and bed size I was wounding if I could take the doors and the young mirrors off the 08 and put on the 2000 how to wire up the lights on the mirrors and every thing like that and help any one do it befor?

Yes, but you'll have to provide wiring for the lights and the mirror heater. If those are the motorized folding mirrors, then you need a 12V source to the door switches.

See above answer and do a search in this forum. Many guys have swapped mirrors successfully.

what are you doing with the dash out of the 08?

I had planned on attempting an 08 Dash swap into my 04. I may be interested if you plan to part out the 08 PM me if you are gonna get rid of it! The door harnesses are different after 07 i believe so i would replace the harness in your 00 doors with the ones in the 08 doors then just cut the mirror plugs off the 08 harness and splice them onto the 00 harness.

Same here, a lot of the switches will probably work if you swap the connectors on your 00 to the 08 style. For the a/c control I recommend using an 05 style unit, it's plug and. Play and will fit the 08 manual ac opening. You would just have to cover the opening under it. I have a thread that I started I am gonna figure it out as I go, I'm on my phone now but I can link it here later if you are interested. I have all manual controls in my truck no auto ac or auto lights etc.

Sounds like a lot of work I just want the dash and doors match in color

You can get the interior paint that matches your 00 at dfuser.com it's color bond paint. Really easy to use just clean the parts with soapy water and then dry it and spray it. I painted my 08 console with it and it's been 2.5 years still looks like new. I'm not sure if they have the parchment (tan) or not but they have the medium flint color (light gray).
