I have a 98 Exp and my lights on my heater controls as well as my map lights will not work.....All the other lights work fine Dome lights too....would anyone know what my issue may be I have checked all the fuses and they are all good
Did both map lights just all of a sudden stop working? I was going to suggest the bulbs might just be burned out. Takes a 579 bulb for the map lights.
579 bulb looks like this...
For the climate control backlighting you'll have to pry the surrounding trim piece off with your fingers (there's two tabs on top, two on each side, and two along the bottom...) and remove the control unit. Most of them take a tiny #74 bulb. I don't have the specific instructions for each unit.
The Bulbs Are New...But I Also Realized That The Mirror Lights On Visors And The Buttons For The Map Lights Dont Work Either ...I Just Got The Suv So Idk How Long They Have Not Been Working
Since you just got it, you might want to start simple and see if the bulbs are good first. Back when I bought my first Expedition the interior light didn't work. I ***/u/me/d it was a circuit issue, but it ended up being all of the bulbs were no good. The PO was just an idiot that never took care of problems like that.

Ok, get a multi-meter and check for voltage at the switches. The previous owner might've had a battery drain issue and started unplugging things.
