Hello enthusiasts, coming home my truck began to fail, the engine on and stays well but when accelerated stops, the fuel has a pressure of 47 PSI, and check the TPS and is working well, I will gradually phased out all lines empty since they are the originals, any idea what else should I check?
if only a little floor the accelerator and keep it so the engine stops, but if you only give off light touches is but when I release the throttle returns to its minimum up
Idled fine then. Lightly accelerating is ok, medium to wide open accelerator kills the engine. Is this apparent when in gear or just in park or neutral?
Have you checked for codes? Sounds like perhaps the timing isn't advancing properly... Or clogged catalytic converter
Only ideas I have now..maybe other knowledgeable members will reply.
Another thought is a carbon track in the distributor cap or on the distributor rotor. I had a distributor rotor that burned through under the spring when I was in Tucson, and it acted almost exactly like your truck. It idled well, but when I tried to accelerate it stopped.
thanks for the tips, had not had time to check out the truck but today and tomorrow I will, if I can not correct the fault volvere to write and when corrected also I will write
