Random Bogging and check engine light
I have a 1992 f150 with a 4.9L Straight 6. My truck has a mind of its own, sometimes it will start right up with no problem and then other times i can't get it started to save my life. But when ever i do get it started i will take it for a quick cruze and out of no where a check engine light will come on and i will like all power and it just bogs in every gear. its still sorta driveable but barely. So i have checked all my sensors and they all seem good. so i came to the conclution that its either a bad fuel pump but i thought that would make it run like **** all the time, random misfiring, or maybe a wiring problem. The motor only has 80k on it so i guess im just confuesed im not that mechanically savvy so i guess i just wanna see if anyone has a similar problem or to see if im on the right track. I tried checking for codes but it came up that there where no codes saved. Id appreciate any help I can get.
