Considering open FF 14 bolts go for as little $100 around here, I wouldnt't expect anymore then $250 from the right buyer.

The Richmond Rear set is 220.00 alone, the ARB airlocker is 1300.00 so only 250.00?

For a used 1/2 ton axle, yes. Like I said, around here 1 ton axles are going for as little as $100 with 4.10s, so why would anyone pay much more for a weaker axle with a locker. Maybe its different out in Cali, but used parts are abundent in the midwest and they sell cheap.

BTW who charged you $1,300 for an ARB!?

You would be better off pulling the locker and put in an open diff. then sell it and the axle separately.
I wouldn't buy a 9" to put under anything personally, but that is just me, I would go with a Sterling...
