Spindle nut conversion kit needed?
Just converted my 97 F250HD from auto to manual locking hubs and have a few questions. I have NOT had the chance to take it off road to test but will be doing that this weekend. I have the Dana 50 front (it's marked on the front diff) and the 30 spindle hub was needed and is what I installed. I was told that I needed the spindle nut conversion kit so I purchased the appropriate kit to match my vehicle etc. Well, it didn't fit, was to small to fit on and totally didn't make sense. When I had the front end on jack stands I locked and unlocked the hubs and they locked and unlocked with no problem when spinning the tires. Does this seem right to you?
