Hub conversion..

I want to use the Manual locking hubs from my 93 F-250 on my 97 F-250. To get rid of the auto locking hubs. However ive herd you need a warn nut conversion kit? Is this true? Or is it a direct swap?

You do need the nut conversion. Is the 93 the same spindle setup so you can just use it?

Nope.....i messed up and left that on the truck...I took the outer caps with the turn ****..and the inner hub. Snap ring and big outer ring. Never thought to grab the nuts..Dang

what is this nut conversion? i had auto hubs, yanked em out and slammed in some manuals from a 350 and they work just peachy? they make a bit of a racket turning around on dry pavement but that's a story for another day LOL

WTF just went and bought the WARN spindle nut kit...And got back to the shop and read....1959-1996 1/2 ton pick ups....but he looked it up under a 1997 F-250...Hmmm
