AOD pressure

Installed an AOD in my 71 f100, 351w, used Lokars high tech kick down cable. Followed there directions using a .275 spacer and gauge on the test port in neutral at idle pressure of 35 psi. Trans does'nt shift and feels like it starts out in 2nd. Any suggestions on set up.

AOD pressure

I would maybe try adjusting it by pulling the cable tight, then open the throttle wide open. They should match, if the cable reaches farther than where it attaches to the throttle linkage, adjust it so that when the throttle it wide open, the cable is fully extended. This is how I do most of them that I have worked on and it works pretty good.
