I have never used a torque wrench on any spark plug but with all the talk on here i figured i might as well use it on my 5.4 plugs. never had a problem with them torqued after 15k

Thanks guys (gals) will def. make all the measurements , take some pics and share as much as I can. I have the X in Florida so when I drive down is when I actually work on it so it might be awhile since I just got back...Dont plan to tow, I like to have it just in case of recovery....took the sliders of the rack, wow useless I say...lol

Only reason Im afraid of the plugs is all the talk I found about busted and or blown plugs...

I did a lot of work on my Jeep and Fj but this animal is 8k pounds, I hope it wont give on the towers...

No worries about plug bowing out on a 2004. The 1999 though 2002.5 V10's had that problem.

awesome, what they do include the sleeve or change in design? i was not able to find anything about that...cool...

Ford increased the number of threads in the head to prevent the blowouts.

You should be seeing pics by Turkey Day, I sold the FJ today and Im driving Fri to MI, yes the profit is going on the X.

Any good mechanical contacts in the Daytona? any would help gonna be there for 3 days and want to get done as much as possible...not to mention all the stuff being transferred to the X..
