It just stayed at 2. The pyrometer gauge moves so I can tell it works, but not sure what's up with the turbo gage
Does it go to 0 when you turn the truck off, or stuck at 2? As you accelerate or climb a hill it should rise some....then when you let off the throttle to idle for a stop, it should drop to close to 0. If you floor the throttle, it should go way up within 5 seconds while you are driving down the road. (I think 25-28 psi? ....I'm not a 7.3 expert)
It does not ever leave 2#. The bottom of the gauge is 2#. I can hear the turbo but dont see any indication of pressure.
Either the plastic tubing has disconnected somewhere, or the gauge is broke. I'm betting the line is disconnected someplace. Trace it from your gauge to the motor. It probably popped out of the T compression fitting.
So I had ford change oil and do a coolant flush. They inspected it also and said I need a new power steering pump and front axle seals as well as transmission coolant hose and lines. Something that can be done by the average guy?

Yes the average guy can do all that but why does all that have to be done? Did you ask him? Always ask why and have them show you its bad then bring it home and get on here to learn how to do it and save yourself big $$$$$.
My Previous EX had 294,000 miles on it, Original everything minus the injectors. You got a very good deal, In the rust belt clean trucks are hard to come by! Your Ex would probably bring 14-15k if it was here.
