The 26 row is actually preferable, since it's usually cheaper, works the same as the 31 row, and actually superseded the 31 row.

A deep Tranny pan would also help.
The only thing a deep tranny pan does is hold more fluid and cost more to fill. It doesn't help with cooling, heating, performance, or maintenance of the fluid.

That's really a hard thing to quantify without putting "hand on" the rig and checking everything out.

Do you happen to have any pictures?

If it seems ok,,,,then yes 13,500 is still ok. That year and mileage and if its in good overall condition could fetch up to around 15k

I'd pay $13k for that in a heartbeat. Hell, I paid $13k for my V-10 with 78k miles on it.

Nice looking rig. If it checks out mechanically I think you have found a keeper.

rust? lots of interior pics, not so much exterior

So I got her home, love the ride. On the way home I did realize the turbo pressure gauge stayed pegged low at 2, is that normal for cruising around under 2k rpm?

Did it go up and down at all, or was it stuck on 2 psi always?

Yes, that's normal.

You won't get any boost until the engine is under load, either towing with moderate pedal input, or hauling the trucks weight under moderate to hard acceleration.

Just cruising, not much boost at all.

did it sweep?

as Stewart said, it's normal to see little boost as lower speeds. My old 6.0 hung out about 10 psi at highway cruising speeds, and <5 psi around town

Is that why it wants to wander off while driving?
