I'll check around for some bad grounds tonight. There's also a bunch of really random wires under the dash...I'll post some pictures up in a little while and maybe you guys will know what's going on

^^ Mmmm Hmmmm ^^ That's what I suspected.
Why is it that people have a tendency to do this to these trucks?
Literally my speedo and what not worked until I pulled a wire that went from the fuse box to nothing out. It hasn't worked since then even when I put it back
This is what I touch the wire to. It's the one with the red wire and yellow connector on it. I've also pulled off the black capped wire and touched it there and it starts as well
Here's the cylinder thing with the two connector looking things
Anyone have any ideas? I'd like to be able to start my truck with my key and see how fast I'm driving...
That's the clutch switch. It's actually two switches. One deactives the cruise when first start pushing the clutch pedal (TOP of the travel), the other closes the starter circuit when you push the pedal all the way down (BOTTOM of the travel). This would explain both the no-start and the inop cruise (well, the inop cruise is from this and the inop speedo).

When I did my zf5 swap I didnt hook that switch up. The auto's come with a little cap on the end of that plug that acts as a jumper so cruise works. You may be able to find that cap, but then your truck will start in gear.
^^^^^ That's an option. The other consequence is that, once you get cruise working, if you hit the clutch while the cruise is on, it won't intterupt the cruise, and the engine will quickly redline. Easy workaroud, tap the brake pedal to interrupt the cruise before hitting the clutch.
Hey JuicyJuice4X4, welcome to the forum. Awesome truck and I'd just about "club baby seals" for a 5 speed LOL! Anyway I read the posts and you're getting a great deal of very good advice. Try to listen to them and keep the guys here updated. I'm pretty new to this too and these guys helped me a ton and saved me a bundle! Now my truck starts and my speedo works! For mine the problem with the speedometer was the VSS on top of the rear diff. It was a bit odd angle to work on and freezing outside but I finally got it and now everything works well. Take care and again welcome to the forum. -Zoltan
So I've replaced the ignition switch and the starter relay and the key still won't start it up. I'm trying to find a ground that may not be connected but no luck yet. Anyone know where this goes?
