Installed a new headunit into my 2006 F350 lariat.
Head unit is an Alpine INE-S920hd. It is connected to the PAC SWI-RC.
Connected all wires and soldered all connections. All features of the head unit appear to work correctly EXCEPT the steering wheel controls. I go through the steps/procedure to set the programing and the version. I'm using the white wire from the PAC and its connected to the blue/red wire on the truck wire harness. I go though the steps to program the controls.
When I go through to program the module it goes through the steps perfectly. All the lights flash as they should, I go to use the steering wheel controls and no response from the head unit.
When I press the volume up/down button the module blinks (as its suppose to), but no response from the head unit.
Any help would be appreciated. I reread the instructions and have done multiple installs just like this with no issues like this. Unsure what to do
If you do have everything hooked up correctly and it's fully plugged into the head unit and it's still not working correctly, give PAC tech services a call, they're very knowledgeable and good to work with.
Well, then like I mentioned before, give PAC tech support a call.
