Installing new window regulators

Has anybody installed new regulators in their truck?
I have a 72 F100 and am thinking of buying new door panels, armrests and window regulators. New window channels have already been installed (not by me). What are the problems that will be encountered when installing the new regulators?
Thanks in advance for any help.

Piece of cake dude. Just put some white grease on the track & roller wheels and on the reg. gear teeth. Remove the 4 bolts like 7/16's and have the window about 1/2 down
when your ready pull the reg out.. slowly lower the window until it stop or you can put a block of wood under the window if you think it will drop down to far to aid in the installation ...Just do it...orich

yea its real easy to take them out and lube them up so they work great again.
i think i lubed mine too much though, the passenger window falls down a few inches when driving and if its down it will come up a few inches. also, don't tell anybody but you can just push the window down to get in. i need to fix that problem...

yea theyre still there. the passenger side one just doenst have enough resistance left to hold position. it will "float" up and down. and can be pushed down from the outside.
