Wiring.

Hi All, long time no post...

I have a 1966 F250 Camper Special on which i am trying to resurrect the trailer wiring, which at the moment, is an epic clusterfvck.

Wondering if anyone has a wiring schematic?

It's only 3 wires, already at the rear of the truck. Get a circuit tester like this,

connect the ground to the chassis and poke the wires to ID them, should take 5-10 min. and you are done.

I need to rewire mine as well. The PO hacked the harness up when he added trailer wiring.

There is a factory connection just off the end of drivers side frame rail, you can start there or if you just gotta have more fun than that go to the cab.

As for me I'd clip and work in the mess area. Put new connectors and try to cover it all up good.

Wiring is not hard, but it is exact.

Im going from the connector.

Its easier to work at the bench than it is on my back under the truck.

The previous owner of my truck had done a real job on the brake light wiring too...I had a baseball sized
ball of electrical tape back there...I couldn't help but laugh as I undid it to find bare wires and a jumbled mess.
