Wiring mess
I am restoring my 77 and I'm not sure what to do when it comes to the wiring I am taking the cab completely off to re-do the frame. Am I better off just gutting the wiring and getting new harnesses or keeping the old wiring?

There are replacement harnesses available for those OEM hanresses that have deteriorated beyond use.

If the harness can be salvaged because of only a few wires that are shot ..then why not do that ?

I didn't take pictures of it, but when I did my frame off, I cleaned and cut the tape off all my wiring, and ohm checked each wire. It helps to have a schematic. I soldered the few that were bad and retaped it up. Time is money, and at the time I did it, I had lots of time and not much money. Now I have neither
