Front Wiper Problems
THIS IS COPPERHEAD I HAVE 1999 FORD EXPEDITION EDDIE BAUER. MY FRONT WIPERS HAVE BEEN ON THE FRITZ LATELY THEY WILL NOT SHUT OFF WHEN THE SWITCH IS OFF, THEY ONLY SHUT OFF WHEN THE IGNITION SWITCH IS OFF. I HEARD OF A RECALL FOR THE SWITCH BUT CANNOT FIND IT. CAN SOMEONE PLEASE HELP. IF THERE IS NOT A RECALL, HOW MUCH IS IT TO GET THE TRUCK FIXED?

Front Wiper Problems
I had the same issue a couple of years ago on my 98. (In addition, the wiper interval varied a lot.) The multi-switch was replaced under warranty, $76 parts and $80 labor. Also replaced the rear wiper motor at the same time which also had a mind of it's own. $82 and $48 on that one. Don't know if there's a TSB or recall, but they sure were familiar with the problems.
