I have a 2004 F250 6.0, I set my SGII up the other day and it now shows 3 DTC on the gauges. When I try to go and scan it says I have no codes or nothing to show. Is this normal or should I bring it to auto zone and have it read. On the gauge it shows 3DTC. Thanks
Hmm... Would have expected SG to pull those. Do you know what version your ScanGauge is? I don't remember right this minute how to get to it but it's on one of the menus.
Both codes EGR related. It would be worth a try to pull the valve and give it a good cleaning but I think the P0403 is usually a bad EGR valve.
Cleaning works sometimes if the code is for flow but those two are for the "sensor" side of the EGR valve.
Inspect the connector and wiring near the valve before swapping parts.
Here are some SG Codes for EGR (if you don't have them) You may want to see if they will read. Expected values are at the bottom of each set of codes. KO=Key on. LI=low Idle. HI=2,500rpm, OR=Operating range of the sensor you are reading.

Thanks rusty I cleaned it today and still nothing I am going to purchase a new valve tonight would it be best to by from my local ford dealer or elsewhere.
