For the record those lights i have mounted on my frame rail collect no slush/snow/etc. I dont have any mudflaps (yet) and while my truck is plastered in crap everywhere, the lights are pretty much completely clean
That's impressive! i figured that the snow gets plastered all over the under carriage as well as the sides of the truck, although it might have to do with the 20 feet between the front tires and the lights though lol. Btw what was wrong with your truck?
ive head the led bar lights are terrible in the snow, they say you cant see nothing it just lights up the snow thats falling.
If its snowing thats true. Or of dust on a dusty road if youre following someone. Its like why they say dont use your highbeams when its snowing or raining; too much light reflected back. I dont know about snow, but dust (or even just what ever crap is in the air) will reflect back light, but your eyes get used to it. Give a few minutes for your eyes to switch from night to day
This effect is more pronounced with over head lights. Lights below your line of vision its not so bad.
