I thought the book said like 18,000 or something for the filters. I don't want to pull the bowl without a new filter/gasket to install. I will get this taken care of tomorrow as long as my service dept. has them.
And btw, the truck has been unreliable whether this is a plugged fuel filter or not. Trust me, I'm praying that's all that it is.
Book says every 22,500. I knew I wasn't negligent about this.
Please don't misunderstand, I wasn't accusing you of negligence. It takes just one tank of bad fuel to plug up the filters in just about anything, and this is more common than you think. My only point was that if this is caused by your filters being plugged then the truck isn't to blame.

Keep in mind, if you are 1/4 tank or less you can also have issues. My 08 would not start and had low injection pressure code. Cycling key as if filters had been changed got it to start.
There is a special service message regarding fuel system noise etc. I know you are not mentioning noise but when level is less than 1/4 tank the Ford 'plugged pickup' bypass will be exposed and if it leaks it will suck air which in the case of my 08 which was running when shut-down; would not start back up and run.
If you're above 1/4 tank then hopefully you just have plugged fuel filters.
Good luck solving your problem.
44238 2011-2014 - F-Super Duty - 6.7L - Diesel Fuel Conditioning Module (DFCM) Vibration/Buzzing/Growl
Some 2011-2014 F-Super Duty vehicles equipped with a 6.7L diesel engine may exhibit a vibration/buzz/growl noise from the DFCM and/or low pressure fuel lines. If the noise is experienced when the fuel level is at or below 1/4 tank, this is a normal characteristic and is due to slight amounts of air entering the fuel system during low fuel level conditions. No repairs should be attempted. Fuel system and vehicle durability as well as vehicle drivability and distance to empty (DTE) are not affected. If the noise is occurring with the fuel level above 1/4 tank, follow Pin Point Test MA in the on-line PC/ED to diagnose the low pressure fuel system. The DFCM should not be replaced for audible noises until the fuel filters have been replaced and the system reevaluated.

Just replaced the filters which were clean and started it up. It was reading low fuel pressure within 60 seconds. It would be nice if someone could confirm whether or not they have had there LPFP replaced under the engine warranty?

Hi GCLL,
As Hdslider stated, your dealership will be the best resource to determine if a repair can be made under warranty. If you'd like, I can check out ways to help as well; send me a PM with your name, daytime phone number, mileage, VIN, and preferred servicing dealership. I'll start researching.
