now that we know its a good one, it needs to be cleaned up and because its a van engine going into a sd, brackets all need to be swapped over. My sensors are all better than this ones so will get swapped as well as new hp oil lines.
since i just did injectors, uvch and plugs, they will get switched as well.
this engine is from a '99 E series. No pictures but is ugly at present...lol.

mileage is reported to be 118k
Sounds good and with 118k that explains the good #'s on compression test. But I hope you don't mind me suggested installing a new low pressure old pump. I believe a fresh oil pump in any engine is always good insurance. Besides it is a cake walk with the engine out of the truck.
Mellings M208 is always a nice upgrade.
So when you get a chance post up some photos of the swap over. We love pics!
i was undecided about swapping oil pans. the van engine isn't bad considering its from the mid Atlantic states but my truck's orig engine is spotless from Texas.
i plan on doing dorman up pipes too. i need them anyways as my old ones were leaking a bit.

Replacing up pipes is a good call. But if you are going with dorman read up on them and check all parts and check the collector casting and bolt holes. I myself would try to stick with IH pipes but new are costly but cheaper than having to do it a again if the dorman fail.
Now as far as oil pans go here is an other opinion instead of using the Ford RTV stuff. Moroso Ford 7.3 Powerstroke & International T444E Oil Pan Gasket - Free Shipping on All Orders @ JEGS And I would use the oil pan from Texas myself, that way you can also replace the dip stick Oring and do it right and replace the whole housing. They really blow doing with them in the truck. Just trying to help you spend your money.....
Hopefully wisely!! Also if the pan is off you can check your oil jets or go with the modded ones. Riffraff Diesel: Welded Piston Oil Jets
