Can I do studs with out pulling the head ? Do one bolt at a time my head gaskets are fine ! Truck has 115xxx not sure if they where ever done b4 I got the truck I had it since 65k

I know it's been done with success but most competent tech's and machinists don't recommend it. It's worth a shot and you really have nothing to lose but some time. If at some point you find yourself needing headgaskets then the studs are definitely reusable.
I think ill give it a try . Like u said worst case need to do gaskets. I've done it in cars b4 but I don't know enough about the 6.0's to know how it will react

I was trying to think who did it so you could read the posts.... I'm not sure if you start with the first bolt in the torque sequence or last. Either way it's gonna be fun getting the back one on each side done. RLMF.....

Thanks so much for all your help great info I'm going to give it a shot !! Now to find studs for the right price only ARP of course !! Maybe injectors at the same time ill be in there might as well do it

Look into polishing the spool valves versus replacing injectors just for the same of it.
In all honesty if I was in the mood to switch to head studs I would likely do the one for one method as well. It's done all the time in racing and heavy equipment so it isn't a new concept or anything.
