ok I just finished my 400m build up in my 77 ranchero, I follow the hot rod build, but according to desktop dyno I am going to be really limiting my horsepower running the manifolds i shoved on it so I could start it up and drive it a while. the only headers i can find for it are super comps from hooker and there is no way I can afford 400 $ for headers I am a highschool student with a part time job so its really out of the question. my question is what are my alternatives?
Is it possible to use headers for something else like for a 351c for a mustang or the ones for a bronco??
how woud i know if they'll fit. they have them for the 73 351c but the deck heights are different would this be a real problem, and its a c6 instead of a c4.
We went over this a few months ago. Like I suggested before, https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/s...s&pagenumber=2
contact the guy on the Cleveland forum who used the 351C headers on his 400. That's the best I can do.
