WOAH....
It's a beauty but every wire and bolt better be NEW for that price!!
Yeah, and then some!
Pretty sure even the nice auction trucks don't get bid that high in the heat of battle. At least not often anyway.
Start high, accept less I guess.
We've all heard that famous P. T. Barnum quote ("There's a sucker born every minute") so we see a lot of these over-the-top offers (I'm currently in Inverness so read Ocala postings). Clearly, this isn't a show truck as Hagerty defines it. Note the paucity of description. It may not even be a 390 (360 engines magically become 390s on sale day). Sellers believe what they want or need to believe. This seller is in need of an all day sucker.
My advice is to look at Hagerty's data which is gleaned from actual auction results and keyed to condition (Concours to DD).
I totally wan this one! https://sfbay.craigslist.org/nby/cto...051285885.html
F250 Short Bed Super Cab Trailer Edition!
Relatively straight, a few extra goodies and an actually realistic price, rather than some inflated dream.
If I hadn't already bought a new truck six months ago I'd buy this one instead and be way money ahead of the game.
