Yup, had a brand new 76 and the stock 360 barely made it out of warranty (12,000 miles back then). I had sold the pickup to my brother in law so he had me replace the engine (around 15,000 miles on it). About a year later Ford sent him a check for $1500 IIRC. Those engines were so crappy by 76, I doubt many of them still retain the untouched 360.

Well, the visor might be ok, that's the only thing I'd want off that...

1978 f350 dually 4x4, in Michigan

This truck confuses me.
I like duallys.
I like 4x4's
I love Fords
But the ad states it was an ambulance? No bed. What's going on here?

Anyone looking for a factory CB? I know they are pretty rare, but the price at $400 still seems a bit steep to me. But it allegedly works, and if you really have to have one, here ya go....

Great way to go from some 16.5 to some 16's. https://springfield.craigslist.org/w...444857963.html

Or rock some well worn 33x12.50x16.5 and change up rims from old school white spokes to aluminium mods. https://springfield.craigslist.org/w...450689004.html

Or get just some 16.5 rims. https://springfield.craigslist.org/w...433098443.html

And shop for some military takeoff 37's to put on.

Not if I win the lottery first!
Yowza that's a nice looking truck. And I usually don't even like that color (much) on trucks.

This one's been around awhile on our local list. Don't remember it being posted here, so:

https://sfbay.craigslist.org/sfc/cto...445476603.html

I think they may have taken a little poetic license with the High-Boy moniker though. VIN and manufacturing date on the door don't match the advertised info.
Much...

Paul

The perfect truck model IMO. But I could never do with one that nice, or the price tag. Much to nice for what I use my 4x4s for. Just a pavement pounder now.
Also I had one of the F350 conversion 4x4s. It was a Naapco conversion. It still had the 2wd cross steering and was the most wretched bump steering thing I ever owned. Off road it would literally tear the steering wheel from your hands. You learn to drive thumbs out so they don't get broken.

Paul if you win and buy it, can I at least come out and drive it for a weekend? lol

That marron/white one as nice as it is, and it is nice. Looks to be a 1/2 ton and there for does not meet the standard HB specs. "3/4 ton only".
