A cold tap tap tap
Hey
In the summer no problem.
In the winter when I start it no problem. In the winter When I start driving before it is total warmed up under load like a hill or something I get a valve tap.It has been doing it for years and my soliution has been let it warm up and dont push it.
I have the manifold off and was going to search for a bad lifter, Ha ha sure I will find it.I guess I will take the valves to zero lash and start looking around.
Any suggestions.?
1992 f250 351 4x4 8600 gvw Is this what they call an M motor?

I hope after I get done replacing this oil pan it still goes rum
The pan rusted out. Thats 21 years. Cant complain I looked at the lifters cant see.
Just tweeked the rockers a smidge to make sure nothing was loose.Is there
a torque setting for the rockers Does it have to be done at zero lash?
