stuck lifter
Ok, took my 71 ford F100 out for it's first drive of the season. 10 minutes into the drive I stated hearing that tap tap tap tap. I'm guessing it's a stuck lifter. I tried the MMO that everyone talks about, drove it for about 10 miles, and I still have the loud tapping.
Do I need to change the oil now to help unstick the lifter?
If this doesnt work, how hard is it to get to the lifter?
